As a property owner or manager you can choose to have Property Memberships as a Guest Role. With just a few extra clicks, memberships allow you to create recurring automated monthly payments for access to your property, or a one time payment for a fixed amount of property access time.
This lets you better automate property access and payments. Members that have not paid, cancel their membership, or have a scheduled end of membership are automatically stopped from scheduling time on your property calendar, and are moved to ‘view only’ property page access.
Property members can also invite their own guests to the property. Great for extended families that need more liberal inviting access, without giving everyone manager control of property settings.
Please Note: Memberships are between the property owner and their members. There are no memberships for Stayy as a platform. Just like with any other stay, your guest privileges and property usage ability is between you and the individual property owner.
For property owners, general membership settings are in your property Guest List Settings. So go to your property page and click on Guest List > then click Guest List Settings.
Check the box to enable the Member role at the bottom of the panel. This feature will be disabled if you don't have payment features set up yet.
Expand the Member options panel to see several great options for Member settings and additional information about how memberships work.
Now that the members role is active, you can change the role of any person from your Guest List to Member.
Here's an example of what you'll see for each member if they don't have an active membership:
Click on Create a new membership plan for the super simple setup. Just choose the membership type, duration, and cost... and you're done.
Once a membership is active (agreed to and paid for by your property member) you'll see the details of the membership for each individual.
