Stayy is built for trusted friends and family to share and get the most use out of their property. All properties using Stayy for property scheduling and management are accessible by invite only. If you’re an owner or manager of a property on Stayy (or considering using Stayy to make your property scheduling a lot easier), here’s how to invite your network of trusted friends and family to your Stayy property.
1. Direct email invite.
From your property page click on the Guest List button above the property photos. From there just input your guest’s email address and choose their access level from the role drop-down menu. Your guest will receive a wonderful welcome invite email about your property letting them know they can easily schedule time through Stayy. Note that only the account created with the email address that you input will be granted access to your property page, so if your guest signs up with a different email address, they won't see your property until you invite that email also.
2. Invite link.
When one at a time invites aren’t enough, or aren’t getting through to some people, create an invite link. You can copy your unique link and paste it into your family’s group chat, emails, or your Facebook page if you’re really brave. Don’t worry if you shared the link too widely, you can easily delete it to cut off access from that link. And then simply generate a new unique invite link with one click.
People that click through your invite link will see a simple banner when they log in to their Stayy dashboard letting them know that you are sharing a property on Stayy. They can either delete the banner, if they clicked on the wrong link, or click to request access to your property.
As the property owner or manager you will see new guests that request access through your invite link appear on your Guest List page. This gives you one extra security check and level of control before anyone not explicitly invited by their email address can see your property page and calendar.
You can go to your property Guest List and change your new guest's role from there. Changing guest role will let you change their settings to Family, Member, or Manager. But all guests allowed access through the sharing link will start out as a simple Guest.
